Field Service Engineer
Multiple Locations
Essential Duties:
- Provide customers with installation, maintenance and repair services of CNC machine tools on location. - Establish exemplary communication and customer service relationships with customers and distributors as well as internal employees. -Manage difficult customer situations in a positive and productive manner. - Respond promptly to customer needs and solicit customer feedback to improve service. - Complete all required Service Work Order (SWO) documentation before, during, and after service engagement for reporting purposes. - Track all expenses and submit weekly expense reports. - Use builder supplied documentation for troubleshooting and repair. - Accurately diagnose replacement part requirements and work with Parts Coordinator to ensure timely delivery. - Effectively work with others at KMS as well as Builder Service Engineers!
Requirements:
- Three to five years of experience in electrical troubleshooting, mechanical troubleshooting, and maintenance of CNC machine tools. - Experience working with Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and/or Siemens controls is a plus. - Proven ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequence (PLC) ladder diagrams. - Strong ability to interact and effectively communicate in person and over the phone with people at all levels of the organization. - Working knowledge of the Microsoft Product Suite. (can train)

Parts & Solutions Coordinator
Birmingham, Alabama
Essential Duties:
- Answer Incoming Phone Calls. - Establish exemplary communication and customer service relationships with customers and distributors as well as internal employees. - Manage difficult customer situations in a positive and productive manner. - Respond promptly to customer needs and solicit customer feedback to improve service. - Take orders from Customers and place orders with Distributors. - Make sure orders are shipped to customers in a timely manner. - Learn and develop a deep understanding of the products and services we offer. -Effectively work with others at KMS as well as Builder Service Engineers!
Requirements:
- Two to three years of experience in inside sales. - Professional demeanor, impeccable integrity, and high sense of urgency. - Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. - Strong attention to detail Efficiency & Time Management. - Strong ability to interact and effectively communicate in person and over the phone with people at all levels of the organization. - Working knowledge of the Microsoft Product Suite. (can train)
